ACDIMA Veterinary Pharmaceuticals (ACDIVET) Limited is a subsidiary of the Arab Company for Pharmaceutical Industries and Medical Supplies (ACDIMA) – Jordan, which was established in 1976 by a resolution of the Council of Arab Economic Unity with a capital of 60 million Kuwaiti dinars distributed across 16 Arab countries.
ACDIVET was established in 1999 as a subsidiary of ACDIMA's veterinary activities, bringing with it extensive experience in human medicine gained through its involvement with numerous pharmaceutical and medical product companies in member states during its early years.
ACPITRA collaborated with two Spanish companies, Sinaviza and Overjro, with whom it signed a licensing agreement. More than 20 products were manufactured under license by its subsidiaries by the end of the agreement.
The company manufactures most veterinary medicines across various therapeutic categories and in different pharmaceutical forms (injections, syrups, powders, and tablets), adhering to the highest international standards. This ensures the production of medicines that achieve their intended purpose (effective, clinically proven, and compliant with international standards). ACDIMA currently produces medicines for ruminants, poultry, ornamental birds, horses, and pets (dogs and cats), with plans to expand its product range to cover the entire veterinary sector.
Quality Tests:
The manufacturing of pharmaceutical products at ACDIMA adheres to rigorous manufacturing standards.
This process begins with testing and calibrating raw materials, studying their chemical and physical properties, and continues through the manufacturing stages, which take place in a completely sterile environment within a manufacturing department entirely isolated from the external environment.
It concludes with automated packaging methods that are untouched by human hands, and the storage of the final product in the factory's warehouses, which are equipped with internationally standardized storage methods.
Purity Tests: All raw materials undergo purity tests to ensure their compliance with required international standards, thus guaranteeing the quality of the results.
Microbial Contamination Tests: All materials used in the pharmaceutical formulation undergo tests for microbial contamination before and after manufacturing to ensure quality.
Other Tests: In addition, several well-known chemical tests are conducted, such as stability tests and other essential quality tests, to guarantee a superior final product.
